Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Arrive in Cochin, meet & greet services at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Cochin. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cochin covering - The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese trade.
Day 02: To Cheruthuruthy (110 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Cheruthuruthy, a small & picturesque village in near Wadakkanchery on the banks of the Nila (Bharathapuzha). The place is famous for housing the Kerala Kalamandalam, the famed institute for performing arts and the Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam, the worlds renowned Ayurvedic Centre.
Day 03: To Wayanad (165 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Wayanad, Upon arrival check in to your resort.
Wayanad located in the north east of Kerala state and the most sought after tourist destination in Asia. Kerala the terrain of immense natural beauty is pertinently known as the "ecstasy of travelers". From the imposing heights of the Western Ghats the country swells westward presenting a panorama of silent valleys clothed in the richest green. Kerala - is the land of Rivers and backwaters, hundred percent literacy, peaceful and pristine, one of India's cleanest state.
Day 04: At Wayanad / Visit of Edakkal cave
Relax at your resort. Later Visit to Edakkal Caves considered to be one of the earliest centres of human habitation. Inside the cave you will find ancient stone scripts, pictorial wall inscriptions of human and animal figures with peculiar headdresses, the swastik form, symbols and cave drawings of human figures, wheels, bows, knives, trees.
Day 05: To Calicut (Kozhikode)(90 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Calicut, once the capital of the powerful zamorins and a prominent trade and commerce centre, it was the most important region of Malabar in the days gone by. Visit the Kappad beach where Vasco d agama set foot in 1498 which was the discovery of sea route to kerala. Also if time permits visit the beypore one of the prominent ports and fishing harbours, and was also an important trade and maritime centre during the days of the early Arab and Chinese travelers and later the Europeans. Beypore is famous for its traditional construction of the Uru or the Arabian trading vessel. This tradition of shipbuilding is nearly 1,500 years old, and the craftsmanship of the workers here is exceptional.
Day 06: To Thalasseri (Tellicherry)(70 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Thalassery / Tellicherry enroute visiting the town of Mahe, which used be a French settlement.Due to its costal location the town was the major commercial centre during the British rule in India. The British built a sea port in Tellicherry for exporting variety of spices. Thalassery fames for its culture, at that times town is referred as city of cricket, cakes and circus.
Day 07: To Gokarna
Gokarna is a small and remote holy town in the state of Karnataka, with four of India's most secluded and pristine beaches nestled nearby. It draws both pious pilgrims and hedonistic holiday makers with equal enthusiasm.
Day 08: At Gokarna
Day free to relax at the beach or explore around the beaches and villages.
Day 09: To Goa (135 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Goa. Upon arrival Check into a beach resort for 02 nights stay. Once a Portuguese settlement which still reflects very much in the culture and life style, Goa needs no introduction and by far is the most comprehensive beach spots of India and known for its night life, Goa's coastline provides endless sun-drenched crescents of sand.
Day 10: At Goa
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Goa covering the churches and Panjim city. Afternoon is free to relax by the beach.
Day 11: Departure From Goa
In time departure transfer to GOA Airport (1 hour drive) assisted by our representative.
